Mini Diana
Tuesday, May 25th, 2010Sometimes you have to keep it simple. I’ve been eyeballing the Holga 120 CFN and the Diana F+ for a while. These cheap little cameras are like little boxes of mystery because you never know how your photos are going to end up. Could be overexposed with lots of lens vignetting or oversaturated with a double exposure. Nonetheless, the photos are loved by many for their dreamy yumminess. Just throw in some film, snap away, and a surprise awaits you.
I went to the camera store today with the intention of purchasing just one, but I couldn’t resist. I went with both the Holga and the Diana Mini. I figured since the Mini was already in 35mm format, I wouldn’t need to buy the adapter for the Medium format Holga. Great way to justify it, right? I’m sure I’ll end up buying the adapter next week. Haa.
I already went through two rolls of film for practice. Hoping to get them developed by Thursday. Can’t wait to see the surprises that jump out.
